Irish Physician Associate National Exam
The Irish Society of Physician Associates organises and manages the Irish Physician Associate National Exam (IPANE). The ISPA hosted the first IPANE in January 2020.
Candidates should be a graduate from a recognised PA programme in Ireland, UK, US or Canada. PAs must also have successfully completed the national exam in the country where you received your PA qualification.
The exam consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs).
PAs are required to sit a recertification exam every 6 years.
